I followed them from Hayward to San Lorenzo. The topsilog always hits the spot! I do miss the special tea, I'd get half tea half pineapple. This time I tried the calamansi lime drink and I liked it, a lot!

This will satisfy your Filipino breakfast cravings for sure! I also ordered a side of bangus and lumpia that hit the spot. You can't forget the side of vinegar when eating Filipino breakfast! It makes everything taste 10x better lol. The longaniza took me back to my childhood, reminded me of breakfast Sunday morning waking up to the smell of Filipino breakfast waiting downstairs for me. The garlic rice was the perfect amount of fried garlic, not overpowering and not burnt. Def order pineapple juice to wash down the food with. For sure a good spot to go to to satisfy your Filipino bfast cravings

I had a craving for a fast food Filipino establishment as my ancestors were screaming at me to put some more Filipino food in me. From what little I know about my culture, I know that you can never go wrong with Silog, which has brought me to Tapsilog express. This is located in a plaza but the restaurant is not hard to miss! On one cold evening, my husband and I made the visit with no problem. The menus were very self explanatory as they list what each rice dish included as well as the type of meat and other proteins. I was happy with my pork sisig and lumpias! Had the right mix of sweet and savory and the meat wasn't dry. The garlic rice was great and the egg was slightly runny (which is what I like). There is a sitdown space here, which is lacking in a lot of casual restaurants. We hadn't tried to halo halo but have heard good things about it. Definitely the place to go if you want a quick and solid Filipino Sisig!

I ordered for pick up and the food was ready right on time! This is a great place for silog cravings because they have so many options. My personal favorite is the tapsilog because the tapa is perfectly crisp and sweet. Minus one star because every time I go, I have to ring the bell since they don't notice when a customer walks in.

Drove 30 min just for their tapsilog! Definitely one of the best I've had around. Also tried their sisig, however is different from what I'm used to. Halo halo is a must but my bf thought it was okay but since it was a hot day it satisfied me. There's a few tables inside, water is free, and pretty clean.

I drove my way to San Leandro to try a Filipino restaurant, which serves several types of silogs (Filipino breakfast). I heard that they've been in business for at least a few years now. I can see that they took a modern approach to make the restaurant look nice despite being a fast food chain. I like how the menu displays the food along with the title, description, and price. Also, they don't accept cash as payment even though that you decide to order from the cashier and the kiosks ask us to do so. I decided to order Sisigsilog because of how unique it looks with the sauces they used. Really tastes good and the portion amount is appropriate, not too big and not too small. Sisig has a unique taste most likely because of the sauces they added. Egg yolk is quite ready and the garlic rice tastes normal. I did take out because traffic will get worse during the afternoon. They have a website where we can find different locations of it. For now, San Leandro is the only one that has that restaurant in the Bay Area when looking for others. I hope that they added more locations of it around or near Fremont for convenience since that's where I live.

Simple food that's freshly fried, however it feels a bit bland - lime/lemon slices or other condiments would be great additions. The tables already had vinegar, Sriracha and chili oil but something felt missing. I love seafood though, so it was nice to get that crunch from the deep fried fish head. It's not a date spot, but there were plenty of chairs and tables if you want to dine in
